This fruit is also known as Red Centre lime or sunset lime. It is a finger lime hybrid bred from crossing a Rangpur lime with a finger lime. The flesh is more like a traditionall Tahitian lime but the flavour has some more complexity with spicy notes. Makes great marmalade and also very good in drinks especially a gin and tonic. They are an alternative to Tahitian limes with some interesting flavour notes. They are particularly good thinly sliced on the top of a lime tart for both visual effect and flavour.
